New York Cosmos Umbro Blackout Collection Live Now

After the success of the first New York Cosmos collection tailored by Umbro last season the range is back and this time it includes a small selection of track tops, t shirts and football shirts from the black out collection. This is obviously pretty self explanatory and features the key designs for the Umbro range from the season before, but completely blacked out meaning that all logos, designs and branding are a black on black finish. The black out collection pays homage to the 1977 power cut in New York City that lasted for just under 12 hours and saw widespread vandalism, arson and looting while the power, and ultimately the lights were out.

The black out range is available for autumn winter 2011 alongside the green white and yellow Cosmos range while the spring summer 2012 collection will feature the white out range, which again is self explanatory and will show a white on white New York Cosmos range alongside the standard green, yellow and white. This season will also be significant, as it should see the New York Cosmos compete in the MLS for the first time.
