Our friends at Luke 1977 have given us a pair of tickets to see The Enemy in Preston on Saturday the 20th October 2012. The gig is at 53 Degrees in Preston, the doors open at 7:30pm and it forms one of the latter gigs in the bands UK tour to launch their third album. Their first – We’ll Live and Die in These Towns – shot them to fame almost overnight with instantly recognisable tracks such as Away from Here, Had Enough and You’re Not Alone. Other tracks from the album have also been frequently used with Aggro, Pressure and We’ll Live and Die in These Towns being used on Guitar Hero, The Sarah Jane Adventures and a Kit Kat advert. The band also saw headline track Be Somebody from their second album Music for the People used on both FIFA 10 and on ITV’s Coverage of the FA Cup. All in all the trio hailing from Coventry have had a good time of it in the last three years, and their 3rd album Streets in the Sky is also set to be a success.

Alongside the launch of their 3rd album The Enemy can also boast a clothing collaboration with Birmingham fashion brand Luke 1977, with much of the collaborating being done by The Enemy’s bassist Andy Hopkins. The colab is due at Mainline Menswear in early November 2012 and features a wide variety of clothing such as the t shirt and leather jacket shown alongside more t shirts, jumpers, jackets and clothing.
