Luke 1977 Polo Shirts and T Shirts - Bag Yours Now

The massive designer names on Mainline Menswear have pretty much delivered their entire spring summer 2012 range now, so we’re fully stocked to kit out the trend setters in the UK and around the world. With a massive selection of brands on show alongside some top new designer names we’re looking at the bestsellers this week and in particular the British brands that will be massively sought after in 2012. With such a great variety to choose from we recommend Luke 1977 as the brand for this season that will have fashionable men searching for their perfect style.

As the summer weather draws that little bit closer day by day we’re preparing for the warmth that it will bring by showing some beautiful ranges of t shirts and polo shirts from the top brands, one of which is of course Luke 1977. As has been the trend for the past few seasons we’re seeing three key styles of polo shirt or t shirt from Luke 1977, the first being the classic block colour which this summer is available in some really bright and eye catching colours. As these are basic and available all year round they’re given the same name season by season so keep an eye out for Williams, Tropez, Trouser Snake and Rui if block colours are your thing. Secondly Luke 1977 has an amazing range of striped tops. Stripes are a major design across a variety of brands, and Luke 1977 manages to capture them perfectly with a wide range of colours used. Thin stripes, large banded stripes and even a variety of the two can be found online, and will look amazing when worn with a pair of beige chinos. The third and final design is new for spring summer 2012 and sees the Forsyth design on a polo shirt, which is a two tone checked design. These are proving popular already and give a checked shirt design wearer a polo shirt option for the summer.

With such an extensive range of t shirts and polo shirts from Luke 1977 available at Mainline Menswear this season, plus a massive selection of jeans, footwear, jackets and jumpers from the brand we’ve got a little bit of everything from the brand that carries the signature lion logo on the chest or shoulder. With over 200 pieces online you’d be crazy to grab your Luke 1977 plus over 100 other top designer names anywhere else, so why not head over to the site now and start to build your very British, on trend summer wardrobe - Mainline Menswear will be with you every step of the way.

February Footwear Colour Trend – Blue Shoes

We all know the lyrics to Elvis’ famous ditty ‘Blue Suede Shoes’ but it appears that during spring 2012 more men around the UK will be pulling on a pair of blue shoes, trainers or hi tops than ever before. In the past footwear has been all about white trainers and even some classic or vintage styles but now it seems that more people are bothered about putting some colour into their sneakers rather than spending endless amounts of time cleaning their white leather or canvas trainers. Readers of March’s FHM will have seen the feature that they ran in the fashion section, showcasing some of the best blue trainers that are available at the moment. And as they say imitation is the best compliment that can be paid we’ve followed suit but instead focused not on the 23 styles and brands that they recommend, many of which we stock online throughout the year, but on the amazing selection that we have available online at this very minute.

Within the range of blue trainers and shoes available on Mainline Menswear at the moment we have some top designer names that include the ever colourful Adidas Originals, sportswear giants Nike, French lifestyle brand Lacoste, the very British Paul Smith, fashion footwear specialists Diesel and the popular Original Penguin to name but a few. Finding the right shade of blue may drive you to distraction, but each shade is very different to the indigo blue jeans or variety of colours of chinos that you’ll be matching the latest fashionable footwear with so worry more about budget, design and brand that which colour will suit your favourite trousers best! If you’re looking to stand out in a crowd and catch the attention of your mates or men around then the Adidas Originals Tobacco and the vintage Nike Bruin trainers in airforce blue and royal blue are the trainers for you. Darker canvas shoes can be found from both Lacoste and Diesel with the Marcel and Lowday respectively appealing to two different crowds and are for two slightly varying budgets.

There are a variety of slip-on options that are aiming at the summer months from Original Penguin, however there are a growing number of lads around the UK that are continuing to wear their espadrilles and canvas shoes on a day to day basis so these chambray and denim coloured shoes will be a great addition now so that you can get longevity out of your new shoes. If you’re still not sure then the blue trainers need to be seen to be appreciated, with a smaller slightly premium selection available from Paul Smith and Cruyff Classics.

So with a major shift away from the classic white trainers or black shoes into a new variety of colours, materials and designs the world of footwear is fast becoming an exciting place where your creativity can really take hold and you can match colour with other colours and really catch the eyes of envious trend setters around the UK. Grab yourself a pair from Mainline Menswear today.

Superdry - Spring Summer 2012 Must Have Brand

The summer season always carries with it plenty of colour, a massive amount of graphical design and some really cool pieces that are designed to be worn and seen by the top designer names. During the winter everyone layers up, so intricate designs and logos are hidden away, however during the summer they really come out along with the sun, the shorts and flip flops. This summer we’ve got some amazing brands on Mainline Menswear that will cater for your canvas shoe needs, your chinos and cotton trousers and your t shirts for the summer. One of the brands that will appear highly on fashion conscious men’s shopping lists is Superdry. The British clothing brand is enjoying a massive boost at the moment, with their signature Superdry technical jacket being one of the most sought after among men, women and teenagers. This boost is expected to continue as men pick up new hoodies and gilets while also grab a couple of Superdry t shirts that were originally the making of the now famous brand. Back in the early days David Beckham was snapped wearing a superb Superdry Osaka 6 t shirt, and from then on the brand really took off, selling the now slightly retired and redesigned tees by the truck load.

Such was the sharp rise in fame that the brand took some time to adjust, however a recent flotation on the stock market has seen Superdry really kick off in the UK, and now they’re one of the must have brands for spring summer 2012. Men’s Superdry is available at Mainline Menswear with a great range of crew neck cotton t shirts, polo shirts, casual checked shirts, Superdry hooded jumpers and hooded zip tops as well as those technical jackets that are instantly recognisable from the branding on the shoulder. Each piece of Superdry is pretty easy to spot as the branding is found across the chest on most of the pieces, and switches between block lettering and Japanese style text. Massively affordable for most designer budgets Superdry has that little bit of something for everyone, so if you want something casual and colourful then this is the brand for you.

If you’re looking for some of the best Superdry clothing around this season, and want to grab some top fashion pieces from the other 100 designer brands online then Mainline Menswear really is the place to be. With everything you need for a fashionable summer, and more, online and ready for you all you need to do is put your summer outfits together.

This season Mainline Menswear has a wide range of brands appearing on the site that all have a different target audience in mind. By far the biggest name to the added to the plethora of designer brands has to be the American Tommy Hilfiger and their collection of classic polo shirts, jeans, jumpers and shirts that call carry the iconic Tommy Hilfiger logo. Already available on the website the brand is growing on what feels like a daily basis at the moment, and has proved a firm favourite with fans on Facebook already. Another top new brand La Martina is an addition to the premium collections on the site. New for the end of 2011 Clarks Originals are now fully online, with a large range of their classic styles and designs you can now find suede and leather in all its British glory.

Moving further up the body chinos are in fashion this summer, so to supply the demand we have two new chino brands online in Scandinavian Dr Denim and American sister brand of Levis jeans – Dockers. Both brands will bring a variety of cuts, fits and colours of chinos to the Mainline Menswear website, and will match with the latest footwear that is also online waiting to be snapped up. What to Wear For Winter Number 2 – Designer Footwear

Last week we gave you a bit of a heads up that the weather was about to turn, and talked about which brands to be checking out over the weekend so that you could get yourself some top designer coats, gilets, warm jumpers and winter accessories. I hope that you were either already prepared, or grabbed a coat in the sale as the weather and coldness at the moment is no fun at all. With the country experiencing an ‘amber alert’ for snow over the weekend we thought that we’d have a look at your footwear, and what you need to be investing in to combat the ‘Siberian February’.

Throughout the autumn and winter 2011 range last year we brought you the best of the designer boots and footwear which included some amazing hiking boots, wellies, leather boots and ankle boots. All the look books for the top fashion brands showed high quality leather boots as the key look for the winter, there was just one problem – the snow and bad weather never came and only the fashionable sorts snapped a pair up, the rest carried on as normal. Well now that the snow is here we’re revisiting the trend and looking at which boots are still available on Mainline Menswear. With a great range of hiking boots from Ralph Lauren, Timberland, Lacoste and Native we saw a great trend of leather (or rubber in Natives case) boots with lace hooks, chunky soles and colourful laces to be worn with thick socks and a pair of tapered jeans or chinos tucked into said socks. Now that the snow is finally here these would be a great investment with the Ralph Lauren pair in particular catching the eye in terms of style and comfort.

If you’re not a hiking boot kind of guy then there are plenty of other alternatives available for you. Alongside the Lacoste wellington boots that proved popular we have hand crafted Red Wing boots, classic Timberland boots, brogue boots, shipyard riggers and chukkas from Sperry Topsider and some superb all weather boots from Ralph Lauren that may look a little crazy, but I can guarantee are possibly some of the most comfortable and warm boots available on Mainline Menswear at the moment. The designer boots offering on the website is generally all available in the sale, so while the snow is looking like its here to stay, and will be just as bad at the end of the year why not fill your boots…with boots? The trends are here to stay, so getting a pair in the sale now will mean you won’t need a pair next winter! Now that is forward planning on Mainline Menswear. So visit the site now and grab yourself some designer winter footwear if you haven’t already. And if you’re venturing out today in your espadrilles, cuff bottom jeans and a hoody (and believe me, I’ve seen it) you’re just plain and simple crazy.

What to Wear For Winter Number 2 – Designer Outerwear

People around the UK are waking up to find the weather is pretty glum and temperatures have dropped into the minus figures. At the moment on the east coast we’re hovering at around the 2 degrees mark, however some places in the United Kingdom are as low as minus five or six. With the cold weather finally starting to bite plenty of Brits are doing some post Christmas shopping for their warm coats, boots, gilets and hoodies in the sale. 2010 saw a whiteout in December while 2011’s appears to have been delayed until February 2012 with snow and arctic like conditions expected.

With cold weather on its way we’ve got a few cold weather coats and outerwear left, and as a bonus for you they’re in the sale. It seems slightly crazy that we’re adding flip flops, caps and shorts to the Mainline Menswear website when the weather outside is reaching minus figures, but the weather does seem to have a mind of its own this season. With there not actually been any snow on the ground yet you’ll just need to warm yourself up, and the ideal way to do this is with a superb designer gilet or bodywarmer. There are around 35 available on the site at the moment with the majority in the sale at a 25-30% reduction. You’ll find brands such as Luke 1977, Marshall Artist, Lavenham, Superdry, Canterbury and Firetrap with a range of sizes, colours and prices available. Wearing these throughout the year over a hoodie or chunky cardigan will definitely add a layer of warmth to your outfit and keep you looking stylish and more importantly – warm! You can add hats, scarves or gloves as needed, with plenty of each from the top names still available on Mainline Menswear.

If you want to invest in a winter coat that will be of use this month and next winter then we’ve got a few great bargains for you on the Mainline Menswear website at the moment. With great ranges of Penfield, Lavenham, Belstaff, Gloverall and Napapijri jackets from outdoor specialists as well as designer names such as G Star, Luke 1977, Voi, Henri Lloyd and Stone Island. With up to 50% off selected designs and brands you’re bound to find something that catches your eye, and will keep you warm when the snow begins the fall around the UK. We’ve got a great range of quilted jackets, padded coats, parkas, waxed jackets and much more. However as they’re in the sale they’re selling fast, and sizes will be limited if you’re looking to grab a new coat you better get shopping quickly.

There are hundreds if not thousands of options for ‘winter’ or February outerwear at Mainline Menswear so why not visit the site now and wrap yourself up warm in designer coats, gilets, hoodies and accessories.
